ok this is bugging me, I have an american flag, that is in very bad shape, what is the proper was to dispose of the flag? i have heared burning it, but to me that is disrespectful, i have heared of burring it, but to me that is the same cause the flag is not to touch the ground, but yet what id buring it? i cant just throw it in the trash! help what do i do? i am a big beleaver in the american flag, my entire family was or is in the military, i am a marine brat myself, i have a brother that just returned from iraq and a brother in law that just went to iraq, so anyway if anyone can help me PLEASE let me know
