My mother who is in her early 70's has just been diognoised w/ lung cancer If anyone has info or information on this I surley would appericate the info....Thanks |

Thanks,,,Mom is in the hospital now getting another round of chemo and done w/ her radation...they did the MRI and her cancer has shrunk substancually,,,,, SO we ARE making progress

That is some very exciting news about your mother and I hope everything goes well. This is something you have to take one day at a time. My mother is an oncology nurse and I know that often the chemo can be difficult, but works for a lot of people. My thoughts are with you and your mother. |

Abby, My prayers are with you and your family. My father is a survivor of stage four Lymphoma. He did four rounds of chemotherapy and has been in remission for almost four years now. I truly believe that chemotheraphy does work, as well as, positive thinking and lots of prayers from family and friends. |

Abby, I meant to tell you... My Godmother had lung cancer... had a grapefruit sized tumor in her lung.. by the time they caught it, she could hardly breathe. They gave her a less than 1% chance to live... after several rounds of chemo she is now a 10 year surviver... so there is amazing hope!! My thoughts and prayers continue to be with your family and also for your dad Delphia :) |

wow!!!! that does give one hope. things are going well on this end...mom is doing well still losing weight and her hair has thinned out greatly,,but she is a fighter... .thank you all for the prayers
|
