An update on Aaron. His surgery went great. He's still in a little pain. I ended up getting a stomach virus the night of his surgery and was vomiting, luckily my husband was there to take care of both of us. But Aaron is such a trooper. He did run a little fever afterward, but they got that under control quick. They were also giving him morphine for the pain because tylenol wasn't helping. He got out of the hospital yesterday around noon. He slept real good last night. Still keep him in your prayers, thanks. |

Amy thanks for the update. Glad the hear Aaron's surgery went well. On occasion you can get a fever right after having surgery but it seems the hospital got that under control, and the change in pain meds is a much better choice. Glad to hear your sweetie is home. Will continue saying prayers. Sorry to hear you had a stomach virus. Hope you are feeling better. Anything we can do just ask. Janet |

5 of my kids has had the stomach virus this week, with vomiting and diareah(sp). Only 2 of the kids haven't got it yet, and my husband hasn't either. I'm hoping they don't get it either, the tummy pains we had with it hurt alot. We're all drinking lots of water to stay hydrated. Thanks!! |

Sorry, I haven't been on for a few days, our internet was down. Aaron is doing great. He goes back to the doctor next Friday to check the tube and his weight. He's acutally peeing alot more and it's not strong smelling anymore, it's clear also because he's getting the fluids he needs now. Plus I have to flush his line out with water, so he's getting more water to help also. I'll let you all know what the doctor says next Friday. Thanks for all the prayers! |

Sounds like this is one of the best things you could have done for him! Will he be able to get off the tube eventually and back on his own? |

Quote: Yes, once we can get him to where he needs to be. It may be 6 months or longer, just have to wait and see. |
