Games for kids

Has anyone heard of Giraffalaff? It has six different limbo styles and a built in sound system that plays a song while they limbo under the giraffe. It’ll be a fun gift for kids 4 and up.

Have you bought any games for your kids this holiday?

I bought the new UNO farm game for my 3yo. I figure she'll love the animals and it's something the rest of us can play with her. She gets discouraged when we do family games and she can't really play.

I don't think I have heard of that game.

We didn't buy any games this year for our kids, we have so many already.

@thimbleluvr your daughter might like the Elefun & friends games. They were created for preschoolers to play with their family. They are fun games that let kids move around and were designed to keep the focus on fun instead of the rules. You can see the games here http://www.ElefunAndFriends.com

The only issue I have with those particular games is that I'm kind of anti-battery. I actually look forward to battery-operated stuff dying so I don't have to deal with it any more. Now to get grandparents on board with this idea.

Are you familiar with Gator Golf? Its a play at home mini golf game. Or you may remember Hungry Hungry Hippos, its been a favorite for generations. Neither game requires any batteries. These may be a little better for your battery problem :)

One of my daughter took some of her money from detasseling and bought my 4yr old Gator Golf for a Christmas present. Everytime he saw it in the store he kept saying he wanted it, so she got it for him. I can't wait to see his face when he opens it!

It will really help him with his coordination issues. We try and get toys that helps him and is easy for him also, he's gets upset so easily.
