Webkinz - an update
      #62753 - 02/08/08 05:15 PM

After posting messages here and on cafefreecycle - and taking in all of the suggestions I received - we called and emailed Ganz/Webkinz two more times and stated in the last call that we would be calling the BBB if we didn't hear back. I received a phone call a few moments ago. They said they had a server crash around Christmas time and they are still backlogged with 90,000 calls and emails to resolve all of the issues. They "unstuck" our daughter's room, gave us a new code for the pet that we were trying to register and gave her 2000 kinzcash to buy a new room or do whatever she needed to do. DD is happy and so are her parents! Thanks for all of the suggestions! You guys are great!!

Glad they fixed your problem. Nothing like an unhappy child who can't play with their Webkinz, huh? Maybe our issue will get cleared up eventually too. You've given me hope!

Reminds me of the beanie baby thing... it is tough when a kid is left unhappy, these stuffed toys tend to create quite a stir though, even years later.
