What have you read lately?

We discovered the city library a week or so ago. I just finished "The White Pine Chronicles" by Hilda Stahl. Very good, easy reading, historical romance. It's actually three books in one. I'm hoping she has more books for future reading.

Fight Club- liked the first 3/4ths of the movie and loved 4/4s of the novel!

Amy,

Have you read "The Outlander" by Diana Gabaldon? It is a historical romance too, and it is SUCH a good book! It's a series, but of course the first one is the bets. 2 and 3 I think were good too, but I can read 1 over and over (when I find time, lol). This book will really pull you in!! Highly recommendd!! :)

I loved the Outlander series. I might have to see if the library has them since it's been a while since I've read them. Thanks for the reminder!!

1-2-3 Magic for Christian Families
This book is great for parents who have children 2+ that need some guidance with discipline. This book has really helped with my strong-willed child and my 'terrible 3yo' child. There is also 1-2-3 Magic that isn't faith based but I highly recommend the faith based one;)

Now I'm wondering which I have. I don't think it's the faith-based one, but I'll have to figure out where it's packed to see. (I didn't even know they had a faith-based version!) I probably need to reread my parenting books now that the youngest is getting to the point of needing regular discipline. The refresher never hurts with the older ones, too.

I am currently reading Saint by Ted Dekker. I really enjoy all of Ted Dekker's books, his books are full of suspense.
