Does anybody use soy-based infant formula over milk-based? There are so much variety to choose from, which one do you use? Has anyone heard of the mom to mom brand of infant formula?

Hi, I used soy based formula because at the hospital after i gave birth, he was spitting up alot, we were told he MAY be lactose intolerant, so they gave us similac soy formular, it turned out he was not, but when we gave him the reg. milk based formular he rejected it, Dr. said just keep him on the soy then, he is now going to be 3 and happy and healthy and drinks both milks now with no problems.. ( vit. D milk and soy milk)hope this helps, it's easier on their little bellies...

Thanks for your reply azdoozy! That's fantastic how your son drinks both soy and reg. milk. I've heard similar stories of kids rejecting milk-based formula in their first stages. mom to mom is a brand of baby products, including both milk and soy-based formulas. They also make pediatric nutrition drinks.

I mostly breastfed my kids. If they did take formula it was Enfamil or Prosobe, but that was with my older kids and was years ago.
My 2yr old drinks Pedisure about 4 cans a day. He drinks that only because he has some disabilities and health issues and it helps with his weight.
