I was thinking yesterday about some of the great shopping deals I've happened across over the years. So, what's the best deal you've found?
I think mine would be the ceiling fans I found on clearance at Target years ago. They were about $7 each. It made our living room, dining room and family room look really good with the same style in all three rooms (they were all open to each other).

Great topic! Mine was so many years ago.. There was a store online called PlanetRx.com.. some of you might recall, 1999 or so... They were giving away three full sized products for each friend you sent to them as a new customer... the customer just had to sign up for the free newsletter, NOT buy anything... They let me choose from vitamins, shampoos, toothbrushes, you name it.. they had about 20 products at a time to choose from. As I recall I sent over 500 people there and was sent over 1500 full sized products! I packaged them all up and gave them to women's shelters in my state. It was wonderful to be able to do something that LOTS of people could get benefit from pretty easily... This is back when Clevermoms first started.. that was probably the most amazing deal for me ( and the folks I was able to share the wealth of the deal with!) :)

I found lots of great clearance toys at Target yesterday. We went in search of birthday gifts for a couple of friends and ended up with several games at 75% off. I could have done some Christmas shopping if I hadn't had the kids with me!

ok, yesterday we took a trip to Pa to visit my brother who is very ill, so we needed some thing for him so we stopped at Walmart( we do NOT have one in Brooklyn) and while I was there we scored a Curious George outfit for my 3 yr old. for $2 !!!!!!!!! I CANNOT go to the corner store and get a roll and coffee for under $3... so to date...this is my biggest find, it's retain value was $32...wa-hooo
