summer injureys have become, 2 weeks ago my son was bit by a dog, still not healed
last friday my other son sliched the side of his foot open 4 stiches then he went outside and sliced his wrist on a peice of glass no stiches but glued then today he stepped on a rock split hit other foot open no stiches but its wrapped up really good
can we call summer quits yet

ohh, other people are clumsy like me! I cracked my elbow 2 days before easter and when it was finnaly healed 2 days before I was saposed to go back to work I had too much champagne at a wedding and fell and twisted my ancle and it still hurts sometimes almost 2 months later! Crazy how it all happens at once like that! Be safe good luck on the home strech!!

honestly, i know how you feel krissy. I want summer to end soooo so badly. I am terrified of my step kids getting hurt. They gethurt in the house! I was mopping and they were running around wrestling and they slipped and fell. Toppled over each other. Logan was okay but Alexis hurt her ankle bad..imagine what they could do outside! Plus, not only do you have to watch out for YOUR kids to hurt THEMSELVES...but other people hurting them. Like when summer comes, young people drive like they're in the indy 500. Music blaring, cars thumping, talking on their cell. When I was still pregnant last summer, one young girl almost rammed me and my mother with her car. (we were in front of her in our car) needless to say, grandma freaked out and cussed and yelled at her. But I think everyone should act like it's still winter. They drive safer. But, I also have an alterior motive for summer to end... I LOVE FALL!!! FALL FALL FALLL FALLLLL! YAY FALL!  Since I'm such a Halloweenie (no seriously, I've been planning since last October, I'm that into it...Almost obsessed.  )

Yeah fall and spring are my two favorite times of the year, with fall being my favorite. I mostly enjoy the weather though and don't get too excited about Halloween :)

Okay, so can someone tell me why when they declared "summer over", it gets like 20 degrees hotter!! In Los Angeles, we have been high 90s so far this week. And they said chance of rain!!

lol...not here in LA. It is still looking like summer!! It was almost 85 in santa monica and in the 90's in the valley. uggghh...i am sooo over summer!!!

Yeah im here in Fresno and of corse it got warm again! Bummer, I was enjoying the cool down. But at least its not back to 110! Lucky LA seems a lil nicer. At least you get a lil more breeze. Hopefully not too much smoke! I havent heard about any fires lately but I dont really watch the news anyway! lol.

Last week we were in the 50's this week it's the low 70's but thats New England weather for you. LOL. Normally In November we see our first snow flurries.
